Cream of Nature has been a staple in the black hair community for YEARS!  My favorite was the Cream of Nature Professional line, specifically the shampoo that came in the huge beige bottle with the green writing.

Not too long ago, Cream of Nature came out with a new product line.  Argan Oil From Morocco is defined as a high performance line, infused with Argan Oil.  This oil is rich in fatty acids, vitamin E & anti-oxidants giving hair exotic shine, nourishment, and protection.

The Argan Oil line contains quite a few products.  Today, I will be reviewing the Sulfate-Free Moisture & Shine Shampoo, Intensive Conditioning Treatment, and Moisturizing Milk Masque, sharing with you my experiences using them in conjunction with one another.

Cream of Nature Product Claims

Shampoo:  Gently cleanses hair without harsh, moisture stripping agents.  Strengthens hair while optimizing the moisture balance of the hair and scalp.  Helps to detangle.

Conditioner: Strengthens and prevents hair breakage.  Deeply infuses moisture.  Leaves hair soft, silky, and full of body.  Restores shine.

Masque:  Packed with repairing nutrients.  Formulated to strengthen, restore, and hydrate distressed hair, preventing damage.  Perfect for deep conditioning or co-washing.

Shampoo: Even back in the day, I loved the way Cream of Nature shampoo made my hair feel.  It was like using a shampoo that had slip (which is something usually experienced with conditioners).  When I use this shampoo, I can easily glide my fingers through my hair.  It doesn’t feel stripped at all.

One thing I didn’t do was follow the Pro Tip on the Cream of Nature website.  They suggest adding a small amount of the Oil Treatment to the shampoo for an increased moisture supply to damaged, dehydrated hair.  That is something I will definitely be looking into!

Conditioner: I like the fact that this conditioner can be used as a deep conditioner.  I’m used to the shampoo/conditioner set containing a simple “apply and leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing” type of conditioner.    In fact, the instructions clearly state to sit under a warm dryer for 10-15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.  The conditioner, when used after the shampoo, left my hair feeling moisturized (even though it felt good to begin with).

Masque:  Now this was my favorite product out of all three.  I ended up applying this and leaving it on overnight.  Oh.My.Goodness!  My hair felt like buttah!  When I rinsed it out the next day, I couldn’t believe how soft my hair felt.

All three of these products continue to be a staple in my supply.  The shampoo didn’t leave my hair feeling stripped, the conditioner made my hair feel moisturized and, just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, the masque took that moisturized feeling to the next level.  These will definitely be used up and featured in an “empties” post!  I definitely recommend and suggest that you give these products a try.
