Product Review | Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Coconut Curling Cream

The Coconut Curling Cream is by far one of my favorite products from the Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair line.  This is one product where I can say it definitely lived up to its claims.  When trying out other Cantu products, the Coconut Curling Cream always came up as a favorite amongst other naturalistas.

From Cantu: Defines, conditions, and adds manageability to your curls, leaving them soft, shiny, and deeply moisturized.  Made with 100% Shea Butter.

The directions say to smooth onto damp hair making sure to really work it in from the roots to the ends of the hair.  Do not rinse out.  You can use this on damp or dry hair.

One of my favorite ways to use this product is on my loose puff that I form on damp hair.  I love applying the curling cream to my hair after using the Cantu shampoo and conditioner as a styler.  In the summertime, I’ll co-wash, pull my hair into a loose puff, apply the cream to my loose ends (really working it in), and tie my hair up with a scarf as I continue getting ready for the day.  About an hour or so later, once I take off the scarf, my puff is extremely moisturized and soft.

Love, love, love this stuff!  I’m not that big on the traditional wash n go type of style.  However, if I want to ensure my hair (when pulled into a puff) are soft and moisturized, while still being defined, I know I can reach for this and not be disappointed.
